Are You An Honor Student?
Barrett, The Honors College:
Barrett, the Honors College offers academically rich and culturally diverse experiences across all four of ASU's campuses. Like any other ASU student, a Barrett student's home campus is determined by their major. Dedicated honors housing at each of the campuses provides a cohesive residential environment that enables students to experience campus life among a community of scholars - building lasting relationships with other intellectually-driven and highly motivated peers from across multiple disciplines. Barrett's dedicated facilities at each campus provide meeting and study space, engagement and event programming, computer labs, and professional staff that are devoted to student success. Fee:$750/semester However, Barrett students receive their financial aid through the ASU Student Financial Assistance Office. Financial support is available in the form of scholarships, grants, federal work-study, loans, and other resources! Most incoming honors freshmen receive ASU merit-based scholarships through the New American University Scholarship program. All students are considered for the NAMU program when they apply to ASU. Additionally, there are scholarships at ASU with specific criteria, varying deadlines, and differing application requirements. The best way to find relevant scholarships is to use the scholarship search function on the ASU Scholarship Office webpage. The College Listings option has links to the scholarships available within specific colleges at ASU as well. Lastly, the endowed scholarships offered by Barrett, The Honors College, can be reviewed here. In addition to merit-based scholarships, many Barrett students also receive need-based aid, and we encourage all students to complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by the appropriate university and federal government deadlines. Please visit the ASU financial aid website to learn more about need-based support, such as loans, grants, and federal work-study. |
